Carita Consulting will lead two practical training sessions for David Mancini & Sons' team focused on preventing workplace violence. Attendees will learn effective communication tools, how to recognize warning signs early, and when and how to report concerning behavior before a situation escalates.

About the Training
Carita Consulting’s training block includes two 90-minute sessions designed to give attendees practical, real-world tools for strengthening workplace safety. In SAFE Discussions: Effective Communication for Violence Prevention, participants will learn communication strategies that support a safe, inclusive, and productive work environment while helping reduce the risk of workplace violence. In Violent Warning Behaviors in the Workplace, attendees will learn how to recognize and report warning behaviors and concerning incidents, with added discussion on reporting procedures, anonymous reporting, and legal protections for those who speak up.
The sessions will be led by Christopher Carita, MPH and Tara M. Rose, MS, Co-Founders of Carita Consulting. Christopher brings a public health background in violence prevention along with 20 years of law enforcement experience, including work as a Hostage/Crisis Negotiator and Detective specializing in mass violence threat investigations. Tara brings 25 years of combined business and public sector experience, with expertise in organizational communications, security, resilience, and behavioral threat assessment and management. Together, they offer a training experience grounded in both practical field knowledge and prevention-focused strategy.
