Christopher Carita
Founder - Violence Prevention & Threat Management

Christopher Carita earned his Master of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University as an esteemed Bloomberg American Health Initiative Fellow focusing on Violence Prevention. He works directly with leaders to build their capacity to prevent violence. He is a national expert on violence prevention, behavioral threat assessment, and the implementation of Extreme Risk Protection Laws.
He brings 19 years of invaluable experience in Law Enforcement where he excelled as a Hostage/Crisis Negotiator and a Detective, specializing in the investigation of threats of mass violence.
Christopher is a member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals and recognized as a Master Trainer by the Department of Homeland Security’s National Threat Assessment and Reporting Program. He now leads interdisciplinary teams in fostering collective efficacy and collaboration to recognize, evaluate, and mitigate workplace violence threats.

Tara Rose
Co-Founder - Operations & Organizational Culture
Tara Rose has over 15 years of experience in business development and management within the realm of high-value assets. She also brings valuable experience from the public sector in project management, and experience in non-profit program planning and management.
Tara has honed a unique approach to Operations and Organizational Culture by encouraging organizations to expand their viewpoints, fostering cultures of innovation and resilience. She leverages a personal mindfulness practice and Advanced Training from The Center for Mind Body Medicine, along with evidence-based practices like Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Nonviolent Communication, to create initiatives and working environments that are more collaborative, efficient, inclusive, safe.
She is also a founding member of The Violence Resilience Project, a non-profit dedicated to delivering the skills and resources communities need to thrive in spite of the trauma caused by violence.

Eileen Tynion
Strategic Communications

With a career spanning four decades, Eileen Tynion is a seasoned professional in public affairs, marketing, media relations, and crisis communications. Her diverse experience encompasses roles in various business settings, including advertising agencies, major banks, and insurance brokerages. She also contributed her expertise to several prominent foundations, a major university, and healthcare organizations.
Most notably, Eileen spent over 20 years as the Public Information Officer for a leading healthcare system in New York City. Her tenure coincided with some of the most challenging times in recent history, from the aftermath of the 9/11 World Trade Center attack, through the challenges of Hurricane Sandy, to the unprecedented challenges brought by the Covid-19 pandemic. During these crises, she worked closely with city, state, and federal Emergency Management teams, demonstrating her adeptness at navigating complex situations.
Leveraging her extensive network and deep-rooted relationships with major media outlets, she excels in crafting communication plans that both protect and promote organizations. Her approach is grounded in crisis-tested methodologies, ensuring that organizations are well-prepared to navigate any challenges that may arise.
