Christopher Carita
Founder - Violence Prevention & Threat Management

Christopher Carita earned his Master of Public Health at Johns Hopkins University as an esteemed Bloomberg American Health Initiative Fellow focusing on Violence Prevention. He works directly with leaders to build organizational capacity for preventing violence and is a national expert on violence prevention, behavioral threat assessment, and Extreme Risk Protection Order implementation.

Drawing on 19 years of law enforcement experience as a Hostage/Crisis Negotiator and Detective specializing in mass violence threat investigations, Christopher brings practical expertise to his broad work in violence prevention. He is a member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals, National Association for Behavioral Intervention and Threat Assessment, and a former Master Trainer recognized by the Department of Homeland Security's National Threat Assessment and Reporting Program, consulting with researchers on policy initiatives that balance public safety with constitutional rights.
Christopher also creates and delivers custom training at the forefront of implementation for corporations, universities, cities, and police departments. He leverages interdisciplinary teams to foster collective efficacy and collaboration in recognizing, evaluating, and mitigating violence threats across a range of organizations.

Tara Rose
Co-Founder - Violence Prevention & Organizational Resilience
Tara Rose earned her Master of Science in Security and Resilience Studies at Northeastern University. She is certified in Threat Evaluation and Reporting through the Department of Homeland Security's NTER program. She also brings over 15 years of experience in business development and management within the realm of high-value assets, along with experience in project management, public policy, and non-profit program planning and management.

Tara specializes in violence prevention and organizational resilience, working in gun violence prevention, organizational security, and behavioral threat assessment and management. She develops specialized training programs equipping organizations and professionals with the tools and knowledge to identify, assess, and mitigate violence risk.
She also leverages a personal mindfulness practice and Advanced Training from The Center for Mind Body Medicine to support organizations in creating environments that prevent violence while fostering collaboration, psychological safety, and resilience. She integrates evidence-based risk assessment methodologies with organizational development principles to create sustainable prevention frameworks.
